L&T Enters the AI Era with Mega Rs 15,000 Crore Chennai Super-Facility

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a landmark order worth Rs 10,000–15,000 crore to construct India's largest single-cluster AI infrastructure facility at its Chennai campus, marking its official entry into the AI Factory sector. Built via its AI infrastructure subsidiary, the gigawatt-scale site will feature a 250 MW first phase powered by 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs. The facility will support the AI-native cloud platform of US-based Together AI, delivering high-performance computing, networking, and unified data centre capabilities for advanced AI training and inference.
